• Support America's moms and babies!

Tell Congress this we must do more to support better health for moms and babies. Ask your Members of Congress to support the Gestational Diabetes Act to create a tracking and surveillance system for gestational diabetes and provide research funding to help understand which women are at greatest risk of developing the disease and of progressing to type 2 diabetes.

  • Success Alert: Arizona Safe at School Victory

In April 2013, Governor Jan Brewer signed Arizona’s Safe at School legislation (H.B. 2042). H.B. 2042 allows school staff members to volunteer to be trained to give insulin; amends existing law to add nurses to the list of health providers who can train school personnel to administer glucagon; and allows children who are mature enough to self-manage their diabetes to do so at school and school-sponsored activities.
